General INFORMATION

The purpose of Orange County Girls Lacrosse, Inc. (OCGL) is to provide the youth residing within the geographical boundaries of Central Florida a healthful, enjoyable leisure time activity and as a corollary to develop qualities that may help them in later life: sportsmanship, team play, and integrity, as well as to prepare them for high school and advanced club play.  OCGL shall provide league format play for OCGL teams and clubs, as well as the opportunity to play clubs outside of OCGL.

League play shall be governed by US Lacrosse rules.  Division I play shall be for 7th-8th graders following US Lacrosse Level A rules.  Division II play shall be for 3rd thru 6th graders following US Lacrosse Level B rules.

At the request of the parent, and with approval of both Division I and Division II coaches,  6th graders with three seasons prior experience can play up to Division I.  Requests shall be made in writing and emailed to the league director at OCGLax@gmail.com.  Please state your daughters name, her prior Division II coach, the requested Division I coach, the number of seasons prior experience and the reason you request the move up.
