Spring 2013 -- League Information

  WELCOME TO THE OFFICIAL WEBSITE OF ORANGE COUNTY GIRLS LACROSSE

THE SPRING SEASON IS WELL UNDER WAY. 

Thanks to all the coaches who have gotten our new season off to a great start.  A special thanks to the new and returning clubs participating this season.  We have over 400 girls representing 24 teams playing this season.  Lax in Central Florida is BOOMING! 

Registration for Spring 2013 is now closed.   

Orange County Girls Lacrosse is committed to provide the Central Florida athletes a place to learn the game of womens lacrosse through a recreational league format. Coaches and officials are US Lacrosse certified to ensure advanced skills are taught and game rules are properly enforced.

Some teams from previous seasons have formed their club teams.  They will have their own registration, but will be playing in our league. Please ensure you are registering for the correct team and coach to ensure you are not charged a $25 cancellation fee (covers the cost of registration fees and merchant account fees). Due to the shortage of qualified coaches, teams will fill up fast - be timely in your registration.

Practice for the Spring 2013 season will begin in early February.  Games will begin February 27 and end May 4.

If you are interested in coaching future teams, please let us know.  The league is only as strong as our coaches.  We offer various training opportunities from private sources and US Lacrosse.  If you are interested, we can provide shadowing opportunities this season to get you ready for next.
